We go above and beyond to serve people!
Role Summary:
A Successful Evening Manager:
We want to be the Chick-fil-a of cleaning, where we continuously serve people with a high level of excellence and professionalism in an industry that has historically not been known for doing so. If this resonates with you, Apply Now!
Our ideal candidate is a person of excellence who chooses to grow with intention. In an industry not always known for being professional, our ideal candidate possesses a drive to turn that stereotype upside down, and is a professional person willing to go above and beyond to serve both clients and colleagues alike.
Not at all. In fact, most of our current team members and managers did not have prior cleaning experience before working with us. We provide you with paid training to equip you to do the job and do it well. We provide all cleaning supplies, equipment, and anything else you need to do the job. All you have to do is show up with a mindset committed to excellence and a heart to serve!
We are a commercial cleaning company that focuses on cleaning professional office spaces. We clean bank branches, medical offices, churches, and other professional spaces. We do not do clean any houses.
Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to dusting and wiping surfaces and furniture, cleaning bathrooms and break rooms, collecting and disposing of trash, vacuuming floors, and mopping floors. Our managers also assist with starting and onboarding new accounts during which we often provide deep cleaning.
We provide you with the training and supplies needed to complete these tasks!
As a part-time evening manager, you let us know what days you are consistently available to work each week at the time of hire. We ask that our part-time managers consistently commit to a range of 12 - 15 hours per week. This usually equates between 3 - 5 shifts per week.
For weeknights (Monday – Thursday), most of our shifts have to be completed between 6:00 pm and 11:30 pm each night. For weekends (Friday – Sunday), most of our shifts are able to be completed between 6:00 pm Friday evening and 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon (excluding anytime after midnight and before 7:00 am), allowing for a lot of flexibility on when to complete your weekend shifts.
Our scheduling team reaches out to you daily with a list of your responsibilities to be completed that evening and answer any questions you may have about your upcoming shift. Your schedule will also be assigned to you through Swept, our mobile app that we use to track scheduling, cleaning times, and many other things. You can review your assigned shifts in Swept at any time.
Our full-time managers consistently work 35 - 40 hours per week and follow the same scheduling system as our part-time managers described above.
You receive your assigned responsibilities for each of your scheduled shifts from our scheduling team prior to your shift. Our part-time evening managers start around 6:00pm and work through 11:00pm. Responsibilities typically include a mix of cleaning, quality control inspections, supply deliveries, and sometimes training team members.
Our full-time evening managers start around 3:00pm, work through 11:00pm, and will often have a handful of administrative responsibilities to complete between 3:00pm and 6:00pm before starting cleanings, quality control inspections, supply deliveries, and trainings.
Our newly hired evening managers, both full-time & part-time, will start by completing a minimum of 3 paid training sessions with us. During these training sessions we teach you about our company culture, policies and procedures, basic cleaning techniques, how to clean “the ACC Way,” and give you account specific training where you will clean solo for several shifts. These are the same trainings that new team members are required to complete.
Once you have successfully completed basic training, you will complete a minimum of an additional 3 paid training sessions with us, where we go over manager-specific training and expectations. Once you have successfully completed these training sessions, we then have you apprentice under other evening managers for a set amount of time before you are finally approved to go solo.
Under our current organizational structure, our night managers do not have direct reports. However, you will assist our team by completing quality control inspections of team members following the completion of cleans, and the inspection feedback is then shared with the team member's supervisor, who relays the feedback to the team member. In other words, you will not directly interact with or relay feedback to team members.
You may also assist our team by training existing and new team members to clean in new accounts, and provide live feedback and direction while present. (Not all of our evening managers are responsible for training.)
We currently pay our evening managers as W2 employees an hourly rate between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, depending on aptitude and prior experience. Your hours are tracked in Swept, our mobile app, and you are paid biweekly via direct deposit. We have also partnered with ADP to provide our team with an online payroll portal where you can download your pay stubs and update your information at any time.
We are a company that is continuously growing and reinventing ourselves. We have expanded beyond just the Athens Area to the greater Northeast Georgia area. We are always looking for and partnering with new businesses to take care of their cleaning needs. As a result, we now have team member and evening manager opportunities from Barrow to Gwinnett to Habersham to Augusta.
We have a phenomenal team of evening managers who help with our night operations, most of whom started out as team members and found themselves in pursuit of excellence at a higher level.
